Orem is the odd case in Utah County golf: there is no golf course inside the city limits. Cascade Golf Center closed in 2013 and the land became mini golf, fields and housing — though plenty of directory sites still list it, which is why people turn up looking for a course that has not existed in over a decade.
What Orem does have is ownership. The city of Orem owns Sleepy Ridge, on the Orem–Vineyard line, which is where these lessons happen. It is roughly a ten-minute drive from most of Orem — closer than the drive many Orem golfers already make to practise.

Both, and they are a large part of the work. Junior lessons are $40 for 30 minutes for players 17 and under. Complete beginners need no clubs, no golf shoes and no experience — a $40 Swing Evaluation is the starting point.
