Yes — Olson Golf Academy teaches golfers from American Fork year-round. Lessons are one-on-one with Tyler Olson, a PGA Associate, at a range on the Orem–Vineyard line. The range is about 15 minutes from American Fork. A first Swing Evaluation is $40, a 30-minute private lesson is $50, and juniors are $40. Every price is published — and you get a written practice plan you keep. Tyler confirms exactly where to meet when you book.
American Fork has Fox Hollow Golf Club on 1400 North — 18 holes, par 72. Worth knowing if you are searching: Fox Hollow and Tri-City are the same course. It was Tri-City, a joint venture between American Fork, Lehi and Pleasant Grove, until a remodel around 2008; the city now owns it outright. Listings still show both names and people assume there are two courses.

Having a genuine 18-hole municipal course in town changes what lessons should look like. If you can play regularly and cheaply, the bottleneck is usually not range time — it is that you are repeating the same round with the same misses. A 9-hole playing lesson at $150 tends to be more useful for those golfers than another bucket of balls, because the problem is decisions as much as swing.
American Fork High is here, and a municipal course in town is one of the better environments a junior golfer can grow up in. Junior lessons are $40 for 30 minutes and they do not need their own clubs to start.

No. Say so when you book and Tyler will bring clubs that fit you. This is common and it is the sensible order — a fitting after a few lessons will tell you far more about what to buy than a shop can before you have swung.
Both, and they are a large part of the work. Junior lessons are $40 for 30 minutes for players 17 and under. Complete beginners need no clubs, no golf shoes and no experience — a $40 Swing Evaluation is the starting point.
